Season setting meetings to begin March 24

Wyoming Game and Fish Public Information Specialist Christina Schmidt made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to announce the dates and locations season setting meetings will be held in the Sheridan Region.
The first meetings are a series of open houses held throughout the region. Local Game and Fish wildlife biologists and game wardens provide printed copies of the proposed seasons.

During the meetings, wildlife biologists and game wardens will be available to visit with hunters, landowners and other participants to answer questions and listen to feedback and opinions on the proposals. Participants are welcome to stop in at any time during the listed hours.

Schmidt said these proposals can be alterations to start and end dates, the amount of tags available in a certain area and general information regarding the hunting season. Beginning March 22, each proposal is recorded and put online for those individuals who cannot make it to a meeting. That link can be found here.
