Sheridan HS Soccer: It’s going to be a chilly and possibly wet time for the Sheridan boys soccer team this weekend.
The Broncs start conference play at home vs. Cheyenne South today at 6pm and at home vs. Laramie tomorrow at 12-noon.
Coach Wade Kinsey says games like these early in the season tend to be more interesting sometimes.

Sheridan HS Outdoor Track and Field: Sheridan will compete tomorrow at Broomfield, Colorado.

University of Wyoming Cowgirl Basketball: The Wyoming Cowgirls finally know which team they will play next and when.
UW will host UT-San Antonio this Sunday at 1pm in the second round of the WNIT.
The Lady Roadrunners defeated Northern Colorado last night 80-62 in the first round, and for the team it was their first post-season win in program history.
Meanwhile, the Cowgirls received a first round bye in the tournament, and haven’t played a game in nearly 2 weeks.

Mountain West Conference Men’s Basketball: Yesterday was not a good day for Mountain West Conference teams in the NCAA tournament.
Nevada had a 17-point lead with about 7 1/2 minutes to go vs. Dayton, but then the Flyers would close out the game with a 24-4 run to beat the Wolfpack 63-60.
Elsewhere, Colorado State’s offense forgot to show up in the first half, and the deficit was too much to overcome, as the Rams would lose 56-44.
CSU was down 27-11 at halftime.
The other 3 Mountain West Conference teams play today.
At 11:45am, San Diego State plays UAB.
At 1:10pm, New Mexico plays Clemson and at 7:55pm, Utah State plays TCU.
On Sunday, UNLV will host Boston College in the second round of the NIT.
Colorado Rockies Pre-Season Baseball: The Colorado Rockies lost yesterday at home vs. the Chicago Cubs 5-2.
Charlie Blackmon provided the 2-runs with a home run in the 3rd inning.
The Rockies play today at Texas beginning at 2:05pm.
They also play Saturday at Cincinnati, starting at 2:05pm and on Sunday at home vs. the Chicago White Sox at 2:10pm.
Denver Nuggets Basketball: The Denver Nuggets won last night at home vs. the New York Knicks, 113-100.
The team next plays tomorrow at Portland.
