HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Broncs blasted Laramie 58-7, Broncs Head coach Jeff Mowry said the defense played well and got points.

And several players got touches and made plays and the Juniors and Sophomores got a lot of snaps as well.

They are back at home this week hosting Rock Springs.

The Big Horn Rams and the Tongue River Eagles hammered their opponents the Rams beat Upton Sundance 45-7 and the Eagles beat up Glenrock on the road 59-7.

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming football Cowboys knocked off Portland state 31-17 and they hit the road for a game at Texas Saturday, the Longhorns are riding high after knocking off Alabama 34-24, the game will kickoff at 6:00 Saturday night.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos opened the regular season losing at home against the Las Vegas Raiders 17-16 this week they host Washington.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers were 5th at an invitational at Natrona county.

VOLLEYBALL – In volleyball action the Lady Broncs beat Natrona county Friday and dropped their match with Cody Saturday.

The Big Horn Lady Rams went 5-0-1 in their own invitational while the Tongue River Lady Eagles went 2-2-2.

X-COUNTRY – The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams ran in Bozeman, Montana both teams finished well in a highly competitive meet, Head coach Art Baures says the competition was tough and the Sheridan teams performed well.

And he says with that result all the runners showed their training is starting to payoff.

GOLF – This week it’s time for the state tournaments, Big Horn and Tongue River will tee it up in Newcastle while the Powder Horn will host the 4A Friday and Saturday.
