The Local Sports Schedule Heats up Today / Rockies Host the White Sox Tonight / Broncos at San Fran Tomorrow night

LADY BRONC SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers end week one of the preseason today, Head coach Brent Moore says it’s great to be back in the pool.

They open the season next week in Laramie for the Laramie relays and pentathlon and Moore says it will be a great chance to see all the girls compete.

TENNIS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams host Casper Natrona and Kelly Walsh today matches begin at 10:00 am.

GOLF – The Sheridan high school golfers continue play in Cheyenne today while the Tongue River and Big Horn golfers play in Sundance today.

X-COUNTRY – Next week the Sheridan high school cross country teams start their season at a meet in Casper.

VOLLEYBALL – The Lady Bronc volleyball team will open their season next week at a tournament hosted by Lander.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL – The Bronc football team opens their regular season a week from today at Cheyenne Central, today ends the first week of fall camp and Head coach Jeff Mowry says so far so good.

The Big Horn Rams and Tongue River Eagles open their regular seasons September 1st, the Rams will open on the road at Lovell while the Eagles will host Thermopolis.

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming Cowboys open their season at home September 2nd against Texas Tech that game will kickoff at 5:30 and you can hear the Pokes this season on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM.

ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies open a weekend home stand with the Chicago White Sox tonight.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos next preseason game is at San Francisco tomorrow night game time is at 6:30 and you can hear it on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM.
