The Sheridan County teams were busy with quadrant games this weekend.
The Sheridan Lady Broncs lost both games vs. the Gillette schools.
On Friday, they lost at home vs. Thunder Basin 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-21), and then lost at Campbell County on Saturday 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-17).
Sheridan is now 4-12 on the season and 0-3 in the 4A Northeast.
Next on the schedule is the Casper Invitational on Friday and Saturday, September 24th and 25th.
Big Horn won both of their games to open 2A Northeast quadrant play.
On Friday, the Lady Rams swept Wright at home 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-14), and then prevailed 3-2 at Moorcroft (25-27, 25-18, 25-22, 21-25, 15-12).
BH is now 9-6-2 on the season and 2-0 in the 2A Northeast.
They will host Tongue River on Thursday, September 23rd at 6:30pm, and then will join Sheridan at the Casper Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
TR won a pair of non-conference games.
In their home opener on Friday, the Lady Eagles swept Burlington 3-0 (25-10, 25-14, 25-16) and then went on the road and beat Thermopolis 3-2 (25-11, 22-25, 24-26, 25-13, 15-12).
Tongue River is now 7-4-2.
They will start 2A Northeast quadrant play on Thursday at Big Horn, beginning at 6:30pm.
Then visit Sundance on Saturday beginning at 2pm.
Arvada-Clearmont dropped a pair of 1A Northeast quadrant games.
On Friday, the Lady Panthers were swept at home vs. Kaycee 3-0 (25-10, 25-6, 25-13), and then on Saturday they lost all 3 at Hulett (25-17, 25-11,25-19).
The Lady Panthers now have a record of 1-7-2 with an 0-4 record in the 1A Northeast.
Next up is a pair of road games beginning Friday at Sheridan sophomores and then Saturday at Rock River.
