Big Horn Girls Basketball Team Outplayed By Wyoming Indian At 2026 State Tournament

The Big Horn Girls basketball team were outshot and outrebounded in a 60-39 loss against Wyoming Indian in the first round of the 2A Girls State Tournament in Casper.

The Lady Rams shot 29% for the game, compared to 51% for the Lady Chiefs, plus they were outrebounded 40-30.

Ava Taylor led BH with 13 points.

WIHS was led in scoring by Taya Dixey, who scored 23 and Paisley Blackburn had a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Big Horn will next play in the consolation round against Shoshoni on Friday at 9am in the Ford Wyoming Center.
