Sheridan Boys Nordic Ski Team Wins First State Championship; Kayley Alicke Wins Girls 5K Race
In just their 4th year of existence, Sheridan High School has won its first Nordic Ski team state championship!
The Sheridan boys placed 2 skiers in the top 4 in the 5K Freestyle race and had 3 in the top 7 in the 10K Classic Race, to win their first state championship in school history.
Kade Shideman was the highest finisher for Sheridan in the 5K race (2nd place), while Abraham Hughes was the highest finish in the 10K race (3rd place).
On the girls side, Kayley Alicke won the 5K race and was 3rd in the 10K race to help the Lady Broncs to a 4th place finish in the team standings.
