Sheridan HS Volleyball: This weekend the Sheridan High School volleyball team will have their chance to prove they belong in the state tournament.

The 4A East Regional Tournament is scheduled to take place this coming Friday and Saturday at Thunder Basin.

This means teams will play each other for the 3rd time this season and Head Coach Danielle Sullivan says this is not the time for the girls to take a set off while they’re on the floor, which has been a little bit of a problem lately.

The Lady Broncs play Campbell County in the first round of the tournament on Friday at 11:30am.

The 2 teams just played each other this past Friday and Sheridan won that game 3-sets-to-2.

Senior Haylie Patterson says despite the recent win, the team wants another shot at the Lady Camels again.

After Campbell County, the Lady Broncs’ next opponent will either be Cheyenne South or Thunder Basin.

Arvada-Clearmont vs. Kaycee Volleyball: Arvada-Clearmont defeated Kaycee 3-2 last night in the 1A East Regional Play-in Game, to advance to the Regional Tournament that will be played in Buffalo this coming Friday and Saturday, while the season for the Lady Buckaroos has ended.

Wyoming Cowboy Football: The Wyoming Cowboys put it all together this past Saturday and reclaimed the Bronze Boot, by shutting out Colorado State for the first time since 2010.

With the win the Brown and Gold evened up their record at 4-4 on the season and have a 2-2 mark in the Mountain West Conference.

Head Coach Jay Sawvel says if being motivated about losing last year’s Border War game was not enough, the team was eager to bounce back from the loss against Air Force, and get some of the winning consistency back.

Quarterback Kaden Anderson says the Pokes played like they were motivated.

Wyoming next plays this coming Saturday at San Diego State.

University of Wyoming Basketball: The Mountain West Conference held its media day event last week in Las Vegas.

The Wyoming Cowboys were picked to finish 9th out of 12 teams in the conference.

San Diego State was picked first.

No one from the Pokes was picked for the pre-season all-conference team.

UW starts the regular season this coming Monday at home vs. Northern State.

The Wyoming Cowgirls were selected 6th in the conference, while UNLV was picked to win it all.

Senior Guard Malene Pedersen was the lone Cowgirl selected to the pre-season all-conference team.

The ladies play an exhibition game this coming Friday at home vs. Colorado Christian and will start their regular season one week from today at home vs. Saint Mary’s.

Denver Nuggets Basketball: The Denver Nuggets won last night at Minnesota 127-114.

Jamal Murray poured in 43 points, while Nikola Jokic had a triple-double…25 points, 19 rebounds and 10 assists.

The Nuggets next play tomorrow at home vs. New Orleans.

2025 World Series Baseball: Freddie Freeman delivered a walk-off solo home run in the bottom of the 18th inning, to lift the LA Dodgers to a 6-5 win at home vs. Toronto, and take a 2-1 lead in the series.

Game 4 is scheduled for today at LA.

First pitch is scheduled for 6pm.
