The High School Volleyball season continues in Wyoming, but one Sheridan High School senior has decided where she will play at the collegiate level.

Korah Condos has signed a written offer of athletic aid to compete at Sterling College in Kansas, which is about 70 miles northwest of Wichita.

The senior says her interest in the sport started when Sheridan College had a team and explains why she thinks volleyball is exciting.

“We used to host some of the Sheridan College volleyball players. We were a host family and that really kind of got me interested in the sport and then also my mom played in college and so it’s pretty cool to be able to take after her. It’s so exciting, it’s great, just the connection that you have with your teammates and the energy when someone gets a great dig or a kill and the whole arena just kind of explodes. It’s so much adrenaline and so much energy and it’s just really addicting.”

Condos adds she plans to major in biology.

Sterling College is a private evangelical Christian college.

The Lady Warriors compete in the NAIA, as a member of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.
