Sheridan Lady Maverick Lacrosse: The Sheridan Lady Mavericks split their lone 2 home games of the season this past weekend, losing to Billings and defeating Cheyenne.
The team was having a little trouble at the beginning of the season with numbers, but senior Brooke Alexander says that problem has passed and the new players have caught on quickly.
The Lady Mavericks are last year’s Montana Lacrosse League JV Champs.
Sheridan is 4-3 on the season so far and Head Coach Brianna Scholl says the team has fared well against varsity opponents and would like to see the team get the numbers needed to play at the varsity level down the road.
The Lady Mavericks next play this coming Friday at Billings, and stay overnight to play Rapid City on Saturday.
The State Meet is next weekend in Bozeman.
Sheridan/Buffalo HS Soccer: Sheridan and Campbell County will play each other for the 2nd time in as many weeks.
