McKinlee Scammon Of Tongue River HS To Play Volleyball At Northwest College

One Tongue River Lady Eagle will continue to play volleyball on the other side of the Big Horn Mountains.

McKinlee Scammon has signed a written offer of athletic aid to compete at Northwest College in Powell.

This past season the 2-time All-State selection helped TR to a 2A state runner-up finish, and the Lady Eagles finished 3rd in each of the 2 seasons prior to that

She explains what it was that got the attention of the Lady Trappers Coaching staff.

“Obviously my hard work paid off and I think I had a really good senior season. I was a stat leader in several categories for my team and I think I made a big difference and so I think that kind of showed to other coaches watching.”

Scammon adds she plans to major in wildlife biology.
