For the first time since 2011, Sheridan College will not represent at College National Finals Rodeo.

The regular season ended this past weekend at the University of Wyoming rodeo event.

Cowboys and cowgirls competed at a total of 10 rodeos split between last fall and this spring.

Competitors earn points based on what place they finish in at each rodeo, and the top 3 in each event at the end of the season qualify for the CNFR.

In the final standings, Jake Schlattmann was the closest for Sheridan College as he finished 5th in the saddle bronc riding.

The team has had representation in the CNFR in each of the past 13 years.
