Morning Sports: April 11, 2025

Sheridan HS Softball: The Sheridan High School softball team will play for the first time in 2 weeks, as the team visits Natrona County today and hosts Kelly Walsh tomorrow.
Head Coach Kristen Czaban says the pace of the game schedule is about to pick up and it will test the Lady Broncs’ endurance.
Tomorrow’s varsity home games are scheduled to begin at noon and 2pm at the Sheridan College Softball Complex.
Sheridan/Buffalo HS Soccer: Both Sheridan teams will play 4 conference games in a 7-day stretch.
It starts today against Cheyenne East at 6pm and tomorrow against Cheyenne Central at 12-noon.
The boys play at home and the girls are on the road.

Buffalo will play a home double-header today vs. Douglas starting at 3 and 5pm and play tomorrow at Rawlins, beginning at noon and 2pm.
Sheridan/Johnson County HS Track and Field: Tongue River is hosting an 8-team meet today beginning at 10am.
Big Horn will also participate.
Buffalo is at Spearfish, South Dakota today, while Arvada-Clearmont and Kaycee are both scheduled to compete at Upton.
Sheridan will go tomorrow at Billings, Montana.
Spring Tennis and Spring Golf: The Sheridan High School tennis teams are scheduled to play in Casper tomorrow against Natrona County, Kelly Walsh and Cheyenne East.
Spring Golf will start competition today as Sheridan will tee it up at the Buffalo Invitational, while Big Horn and Tongue River will travel to Worland for a meet being hosted by Ten Sleep.
Legion Baseball: The Sheridan Troopers are scheduled to play their first weekend series on the road.
The team will play 2 games tomorrow and 1 on Sunday at Rapid City Post 22.
The Buffalo Bulls Legion team is scheduled to play a double-header tomorrow at Cody.
Colorado Rockies Baseball: The Colorado Rockies avoided the sweep, as the team won yesterday at home vs. Milwaukee 7-2.
Brenton Doyle hit a solo home run and had 5 RBI’s to help the cause.
The Rocks start a 6-game road trip today with a 3-game series at San Diego.
First pitch today is at 7:40pm.
Tomorrow’s game starts at 6:40pm and Sunday’s game is at 2:10pm.
After those 3 games, Colorado will then head to LA to start a 3-game series against the Dodgers.
Colorado Avalanche Hockey: The Colorado Avalanche lost their regular season home finale last night against Vancouver 4-1.
The Avs will conclude their regular season with games tomorrow at LA and on Sunday at Anaheim, then wait a few days for the playoff schedule, because other teams will finish their regular season as late as Thursday of next week.
