Sheridan Troopers Legion Baseball: It’s time for baseball season in Wyoming.

The Legion Baseball season starts this weekend as the Sheridan Troopers host 2-time defending A-League State Champ Powell tomorrow and Miles City, Montana on Sunday.

Last year the team went 36-28 and went 1-2 in the state tournament.

Head Coach Austin Cowen says the Troopers lost their share of players from last year due to graduation, but have a good nucleus of players returning and have some players moving up that got some playing time with the big boys last year.

Start times for tomorrow’s double-header vs. Powell are at 1 and 3pm.

Sunday is a single game beginning at 12-noon.

You can watch a LIVE video stream of the games at sheridanmedia.com and on the Sheridan Media Facebook page, plus you can hear the LIVE radio play-by-play on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9FM.

After Sunday’s game, the Sheridan Jets will start their season with a single game at home vs. Buffalo.
