East, South and Central were all eliminated yesterday.
The last time there was a Cheyenne-less boys basketball state tournament was back in 1971.
Indoor Track and Field State Meet: The 3A State Meet concludes today in Gillette.
Big Horn and Tongue River are both competing in that competition.
So far, the BH boys sprint medley relay team finished 2nd and Derrick Miller of Tongue River was 3rd in the boys 400 meter dash.

Later today and tomorrow, Sheridan will have their turn in the 4A State Meet.
Sheridan Hawks Junior Hockey: The Sheridan Hawks will conclude the regular season today and tomorrow at Rapid City.
The puck drops at 7:05pm for both games.
The Hawks need 1 point in the standings to lock down the #2 seed for the playoffs, meaning the team needs either a win, 1 loss in either overtime or shootout, or hope that Great Falls loses one of their 2 games against Butte.
If none of those 3 things happen, Sheridan would drop to the #3 seed.
The team will know their opponent and playoff schedule this Sunday.
Playoff rounds are a best 2 out of 3 matchup.
Sheridan Lady Hawks Amateur Hockey: The Wyoming Girls State Tournament starts today and runs through Sunday in Pinedale.
The Sheridan Lady Hawks have the #1 seed for the 4-team round robin event.
The team plays Cheyenne today at 1pm.

On Sunday, the 3rd place game starts at 7:30am and the championship game at 11:30.
The Lady Hawks are the defending state champs.
University of Wyoming Basketball: The Mountain West Conference regular season concludes today, however the Wyoming Cowboys have the weekend off from competition.
Since there are an odd number of teams, one team has to finish ahead of the rest and UW got the draw this time around.
The Pokes will carry the #9 seed into the Mountain West Conference tournament, which starts Wednesday in Las Vegas.
Wyoming will play the first game of the tournament at 12-noon against the #8 seed, San Jose State.

Colorado Rockies Pre-Season Baseball: The Colorado Rockies had yesterday off from competition.
