Sheridan HS Boys Basketball: The Sheridan High School Boys Basketball team may have lost their opportunity to grab the #1 seed for next week’s regional tournament, but there’s still some basketball to be played.

The Broncs dropped their home finale this past Friday at home vs. Campbell County, 75-68, and as a result, the Camels locked up the #1 seed in the 4A East.

Sheridan Head Coach Jeff Martini explains what went wrong.

The Broncs conclude the regular season this Saturday at Thunder Basin and can grab the #2 seed with a win.

Sheridan HS Girls Basketball: The Sheridan Lady Broncs were not at 100%, but managed to get the job done on Friday at home vs. Campbell County.

What helped was the defense, because it took around 11 ½ minutes for the opposition to get their first field goal of the game.

Lady Broncs Head Coach Ryan Sullivan says he credits the team for making the most out of what they had available.

Sheridan also plays this Saturday at Thunder Basin and will either be the #3 or #4 seed at next weekend’s regional tournament.

Arvada-Clearmont Girls Basketball: The Arvada-Clearmont girls basketball team put together a regular season record of 14-5, and got the #2 seed out of the northeast for this weekend’s 1A East Regional Tournament.

Head Coach Bo Benth says the big difference this season compared to last, is that players are staying healthy and off the injured list and they’ve also put in the off-season work.

The Lady Panthers will play in the first game of the 1A East Regional Tournament this coming Thursday at 9am vs. Southeast.

The tournament is being played at Upton.

University of Wyoming Basketball: The Wyoming Cowboys will try to get back on the winning track today at Nevada.
