Sheridan HS Boys Swimming Team Finishes 5th At 2025 4A WY HS State Swimming And Diving Meet

Junior Ben Forsythe repeated as state champ in both the 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard breaststroke races, and Wyatt Olson placed 3rd in the 500 yard freestyle, to help the Broncs finish 5th at the 2025 State Meet held at Gillette.

The 200 yard freestyle relay team (Wyatt Olson, Ben Forsythe, Ben Bujans and Liam Hill) also finished 3rd.

Forsythe was named both the swimmer of the meet and the swimmer of the year.

Four Sheridan HS records were broken in the preliminaries.

200 yard medley relay – Wyatt Olson, Ben Forsythe, Ben Bujans, Liam Hill 1 minute 40.29 seconds (old record – 2018 1:41.58)

50 yard freestyle – Ben Forsythe 20.76 seconds (old record John Green – 1987 21.01)

500 yard freestyle – Wyatt Olson 4 minutes 57.00 seconds (old record Oscar Patten – 2016 4:57.80)

100 yard breaststroke – Ben Forsythe 57.24 seconds (old record Rob Kirk – 1989 1:00.68)
