Sheridan and Big Horn HS Indoor Track and Field: High School Indoor Track and Field Athletes from Sheridan and Big Horn High Schools are about to see how they stack up to some of the best in the west.
Today, tomorrow and Saturday are the annual Simplot Games which are held in Pocatello, Idaho on the campus of Idaho State University.
The event features athletes from Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, California, and Nevada.
Sheridan High School Indoor Track and Field Coach Taylor Kelting says at an event like this, it can be easy to get caught up in the hype, but if they do what they’re supposed to do, the hype will come to them.
Competition is scheduled to begin at 4:30pm today and at 8:30am tomorrow and Saturday.
Sheridan HS Boys Basketball: Tomorrow is a 1st place battle in the Boys 4A East as Sheridan hosts Campbell County.

Sheridan Hawks and Lady Hawks Amateur Hockey: The season is winding down for both the Sheridan Hawks and Lady Hawks.
The boys finished their regular season a couple of weeks ago and are now preparing for the state tournament which starts on February 28th at Cody.
The Lady Hawks will conclude their regular season this weekend with games at Cheyenne on Saturday and Sunday.
The team needs to win 1 game to lock up the #1 seed for their state tournament, which starts on March 7th in Pinedale.
This weekend, starting tomorrow, Sheridan is hosting the 10 and under state tournament.
The Hawks have 2 teams that will participate in the 5-team event.
Denver Nuggets Basketball: The All-Star Break is over and the Denver Nuggets will continue their push towards the playoffs.
The team has won 8 straight and will look to expand that streak today at home vs. Charlotte, starting at 7pm.
