Sheridan HS Basketball: The Sheridan Broncs boys basketball team has played every team in the 4A East Conference once, and now they are preparing to face them again.
The team is in a 3-way tie for 2nd, 3rd and 4th and are 1 game back of first place Campbell County.
Head Coach Jeff Martini says Sheridan is not in a bad spot, but needs to do better the second time around, in order to get a good spot in the regional tournament bracket.
As for the Lady Broncs they are in 4th place by themselves after 1 trip through conference play.
In just about every conference game that they’ve played so far, Sheridan would get out to a great start, but maintaining that good fortune has been the trick.
Head Coach Ryan Sullivan says to some extent, the team is over-doing some things in the first half.
Sheridan is on the road this weekend.
The teams play Friday at Cheyenne East and on Saturday at Cheyenne Central.
University of Wyoming Basketball: The Wyoming Cowboys have played every team in the Mountain West Conference once and are preparing for their 2nd run.
The Pokes play today at home vs. Utah State.
The Aggies won the first matchup in Logan by 3 points back in early December.
Tip-off from Laramie is scheduled for 6:30pm and you can hear the game LIVE on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.
The Wyoming Cowgirls have the mid-week off from competition.
Since there are an odd number of teams in the conference, some team has to take a break either in the mid-week or on a weekend, and this time it’s UW’s turn.
The Ladies next play Saturday at San Diego State.
Denver Nuggets Basketball: The Denver Nuggets won last night at home vs. New Orleans 125-113.
The Nuggets and Pelicans will play each other again tomorrow at Denver.
