Sheridan Boys Cross-Country Team 1st; Girls 3rd at 2022 Billings Invitational; TR and BH Start Seasons

Senior Austin Akers finished 3rd individually with a time of 16 minutes 16.14 seconds (6.46 seconds behind the leader) and the top 5 Sheridan runners placed in the top 30, which was enough to win the Billings Invitational by 35 points ahead of Billings West.

Senior Al Spotted of Tongue River finished 9th.

Sophomore Alexa Miller with the highest finisher for the Sheridan girls at 28th, and the top 4 Lady Bronc runner finished between 28th and 36th, to put the team in 6th place.

At the Kelly Walsh Bear Trap Invitational in Casper, Ethan Alliot was the highest finisher for Big Horn at 38th, to help the Rams to an 11th place finish.

The next scheduled cross country meet for Sheridan and Tongue River is on Friday, September 2nd at Spearfish, South Dakota.

Big Horn is scheduled to compete on Friday, September 2nd at Hardin, Montana.
