Eloise Maxine Edwards
Eloise M. Rice was born early in the morning of October 14, 1931, to George W. Rice and Ottoni M. Pedersen Rice in Maramec, Oklahoma, in Pawnee County. She was the fourth of ten siblings: Lorraine Carter, George Jr., Virginia Rahr, Eldon, Buford, Bert, Steve, Emery, and Jim.
She was predeceased by her parents, sisters Lorraine and Virginia, brothers George Jr., Eldon, and Jim, and husbands Frank Reed and Percy Edwards, as well as close friend Ralph Watkins.
Eloise grew up near Glendive, Montana, on a sugar beet farm. In her late teens, she moved to Sheridan, Wyoming. Oh, how she loved the mountains! She enjoyed many different jobs during her lifetime — farm and ranch work, bookkeeping, café cooking, and serving as a nursing assistant — helping many wonderful folks. She was active in her church and attended Bible studies. Eloise deeply loved her many pets.
She adored her son, Mark Reed, his wife Jeannie, granddaughters Amy Haselhorst (Troy) and Kate Reed, great-grandson Wesley Reed, and great-granddaughters Ashlyn Schaible (Aaron), Makenna Haselhorst, and Sydney Haselhorst. She also loved the Lord and her friends.
She is also survived by brothers Buford, Bert, Steve, and Emery, and numerous nieces and nephews.
