Macie Lee Albin

Macie Lee Albin, 30, passed away, surrounded by family and close friends, in Sheridan, WY on Friday, August 1st, 2025. Born on December 29th, 1994, in Cheyenne, WY. In Macie’s early years, she was raised in both Michigan, and Colorado, Macie later settled down in Sheridan, WY.

Macie is survived in death by her Fiance, David Smith (31), two beautiful children, Titan Smith (11), and Melody Smith (9), her parents Christopher Albin (52), and Jessie Evans (54), One sister, Amanda, four brothers, Tazman West, Cody Evans, Charles (Bronson) Albin, and Tristan Albin.

Macie was a loving mother, and welcomed everyone and anyone into her life with open arms. Macie’s nickname, given in high school, was ‘Cherry Bomb’, due to her fiery red hair and spirit. Macie enjoyed spending her time outdoors, in the mountains, or at the lake. Macie’s favorite genre of music was rock and roll. Dancing and music, loud enough to drown your thoughts, were a part of her daily routine. Macie wasn’t shy about who she was or how she was perceived, as long as she could put a smile on someone’s face, she was happy. Macie will be dearly missed by everyone, but her spirit will never be forgotten.

A Public Visitation/Open House Celebration will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 10:00AM to Noon at Champion Kane Funeral Home. All are welcome to come pay their respects and enjoy light refreshments.
