County OKs Vacation of Right-of-Way in Downer Addition

The Sheridan County Commission has voted to approve a vacation of a public right-of-way known as Holmes Avenue and alley in the Downer Addition.

County Engineer Ken Muller gave more details on the proposed vacation.

Muller said since the vacation of the property is within one and a half miles of the Sheridan City Limits, they had to be notified of the county’s intent to vacate, and the city offered no objection to the proposal.
