The WYO Theater will present the production Frozen Jr. on June 16 – 19, beginning at 7 p.m.
Fifty-seven children have been learning and working to bring the production to the WYO stage under the direction of Grace Cannon and Stephanie Zukowski.
While working to ensure a great performance the kids involved were also learning, honing their craft and gaining new skills under WYO Play.
WYO Play is the umbrella term for the educational programming of the WYO Theater, bringing opportunities and the arts to Sheridan kids.
While speaking on Public Pulse, Cannon, the lead teaching artist of WYO Play and co-director of Frozen Jr., told listeners the productions are great catalysts to the piloted programs.
With the production requiring 57 children of a wide range of ages, Cannon said she was excited to see the high level of enthusiasm and was inspired by their performances.
