Council to Consider Bid Award for Crushing Project

City of Sheridan staff have submitted their recommendation to the City Council for a contractor for this year’s crushing project at the City Landfill. City Public Works Director Lane Thompson said the project is something that is done regularly.
The project consists of crushing approximately 6,000 tons of concrete at the landfill and separation of the rebar within that pile. A request for proposals for the project was advertised February 23 through March 11. The City received a total of three bids and staff is recommending the Council award to the lowest qualified bidder, PEI Wyoming, LLC in the amount of $44,000. The item is expected to be considered for approval at the Council’s next regularly scheduled business meeting on Monday night.
