JCHC Offering Turkey Trot Again This Year

Johnson County Healthcare Center will again be offering the annual Susie Bowling Lawrence Hospice Buffalo Turkey Trot Thanksgiving morning.

The 5K Walk/Run is a fundraiser and also a way to raise awareness for the Hospice program at the JCHC.

Funds raised through the event will help terminally ill patients and families in the community.

This year’s Turkey Trot is scheduled to start at 8am Thanksgiving morning in Crazy Woman Square in Buffalo.

The cost for adult participants is $15 with long sleeve t-shirt or $5 without a t-shirt.

Children ages 10 and under are free and will receive a free long sleeve t-shirt.

Early registrations, which guarantees a t-shirt from the event, will be taken until noon this Friday, November 6^th, but registrations will be taken up to 7:45am the day of the event, with no guarantee of a t-shirt.
