A Look Back in Time: Oct. 20, 1920

Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Oct. 20, 1920.

Voters living in incorporated towns in Sheridan county will have their last chance to register for the Nov. 2 election on Thursday and Friday.

It was announced today that every school pupil in Sheridan will march in a parade on Nov. 1 urging people to vote “yes” on Constitutional Amendment No. 2. The amendment would give authority to the electors of school districts to bond their districts to an amount equal to 4 percent of the district’s valuation instead of 2 percent for building purposes.

John Morgan of Arvada is in Sheridan today. Also in Sheridan today is J. R. Dickinson of Clearmont.
