Hidden Bridge Ranch Rezone and Subdivision Approved by Council

Third and final reading of an ordinance to rezone Hidden Bridge Ranch from a mix of R-1 residential and B-1 commercial to R-2 residential was approved by the Sheridan City Council at their meeting Monday night. Subsequently, the Council approved a resolution for the final plat of the Hidden Bridge Ranch Subdivision, which is located in the 700 block of Mydland Road, south of West 5th Street. Council also approved an ordinance to rezone 11.8 acres of unplatted land from R-1 Residence to a B-1 Business District, located at 646 East 5th Street. In other business, City Engineer Hanns Mercer said implementation of the three lane configuration on Main Street in downtown Sheridan will take place this weekend. The Council passed a resolution for water restrictions due to the Japanese Beetle infestation.

The resolution states that all City of Sheridan residents and businesses are requested to immediately cease watering their lawns, green spaces, and gardens for the season. We’ll have more from the Council meeting for you in future stories.
