SCLT, SAGE Community Arts to Offer Plein Air Sketching

Sheridan Community Land Trust is partnering with SAGE Community Arts for an evening of plein air sketching at the Big Goose Natural Area on Wednesday, Sept. 30.

As fall colors transform the landscape, local artist Randy Stout will help participants build the skills they need to capture what they see through drawing and sketching. Whether you’re an experienced artist or simply interested in trying something new, this SCLT Discovery Session is a chance to slow down, spend time outside, and see the landscape from a different perspective.

SCLT Discovery Session: Plein Air Sketching will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, at the SCLT Big Goose Natural Area, 14 Lane Ln. in Sheridan.

Sketchbooks will be provided at no charge to registered participants. Please bring your own drawing or sketching utensils and a lawn chair or blanket, depending on how you prefer to sketch.

The program is free to attend and open to all.
