Sheridan County 4-H, and FFA Fair Family Weekend

Sheridan County 4-H, and FFA Fair is in full swing at the fairgrounds. Zachary Hein 4-H/Youth Development Extension Educator talked about how this year’s fair is starting out, and the upcoming family weekend.

The hot weather has affected a lot of events in the area, and 4-H fair is not exception. Hein explained how they are dealing with the extreme heat.

When asked if he felt that the 4-H had more or less members participating, he said that a lot depended on the enthusiast volunteers and parents who are supportive of their youngsters learning different skills and enjoying the friendly competition at the fair. He said they are always needing volunteers to help with the projects that the youngsters want to learn.

Everyone is invited to come up to the fairgrounds and see the exhibits, watch the livestock shows and enjoy a day at the Sheridan County 4-H and FFA Fair.
