Sheridan Commission Approves Software Purchase for Sheriff’s Office

Sheridan County’s Commissioners have approved the purchase of a software upgrade for the sheriff’s office, to be compatible with an upgrade to be performed by the State of Wyoming.

Sheriff Levi Dominguez explained further.

Dominguez said all 23 counties in the state will have to upgrade their software to be compatible with the state before the January 1, 2027 deadline.

The commission approved the purchase for a cost of nearly $3,900 which will come out of the county’s General Fund.
