BPD Chief Praises Operation Blue Santa

Buffalo police Chief Sean Bissett, during his recent report to the city council, gave praises to Erika McCarter and their annual Operation Blue Santa program that helps families during the Christmas season.

Chief Bissett also gave the numbers for his department during the month of January.

There were just over 1,900 calls and walk-ins to the dispatch center, with 641 incidents that officers responded to which resulted in four arrests, two of which were for DUI.
