The Collective Arts Festival 2024, Aug. 10

Local arts organizations have joined forces to present the Collective Arts Festival, a day-long celebration of the arts, on Saturday, Aug. 10, at Whitney Commons in downtown Sheridan. 

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Executive Director of SAGE Community Arts, Jill Benson, said local arts organizations have formed the Bighorn Arts Collective with strategic goals in mind to support and grow the arts and fellow arts organizations in the Sheridan Region.

Previously known as “Celebrate the Arts,” the Collective Arts Festival, presented by the Bighorn Arts Collective, is a festival celebrating and showcasing performing, visual and literary arts created by the talented individuals that make up the region’s arts community.

The free, family-friendly event will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Whitney Commons and will include music and dance performances, art demos, literary and poetry readings, children’s arts activities, and artisan booths, as well as food trucks and a beer garden.
