Published

In addition to Sheridan County, residents in Johnson County need to keep an eye on areas where waterways can spill over, and can cause the ground to become too saturated.

The National Weather Service Office in Riverton has issued a flood watch for Johnson County and Central Wyoming.

The watch is in effect from 2pm Thursday (June 1st) until 6pm Saturday.

Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

Sheridan County and a number of counties in southern Montana are under a flood watch until midnight Saturday.
