TRMS Robotics Team Plan to Compete in World Championships

At the regular school board meeting at SCSD#1 on Tuesday night, Feb. 20, TRMS Science teacher Susie Fisher reported that the Decepticons robotics team, which won the state competition in Casper last December, plan to go on to the World Championships in Houston, TX. Fisher this is the first year ever for TRMS to have a robotics program.
She then introduced Kade Shideman, who explained what the four parts of robotics are.
He also talked about raising money for the team to go to the World Championships, saying they needed about $2000 per student to attend. Fisher told the board that person or organization anyone interested in donating to the trip could send her an email.

Fisher talked about some other projects that the science students have been working on this year.

She said that 30 students from TRMS went to the Teton Science Fair as well.
Fisher also talked about some of the local field trips some of the science students went on during the winter, one to I-Cam, and to Emit Technologies.
