There will be a public meeting on the Sheridan South Downtown Project on Wednesday, February 11 at noon in Council Chambers on the third floor of Sheridan City Hall. The intent of the meeting is to allow citizens the opportunity to review and comment on the project. At the meeting, City staff will present the design to date of the proposed project and will discuss the updated cost increase and the plan for funding the improvements.

The project area is just south of the Sheridan County Courthouse and encompasses south Main Street to the east, west College to the south, west Whitney to the north, and up to Thurmond to the west.

The project is identified in the City’s Capital Improvement Plan as a neighborhood project to rehabilitate and replace all of the infrastructure, including water and sewer lines, stormwater systems, curb and gutter, sidewalks and roadway paving. City Utilities Director Dan Roberts.
