Now that the weather is getting cooler, and precipitation is in the forecast for this weekend, fire restrictions are being lifted in various parts of Wyoming.

The Bureau of Land Management has lifted restrictions in Sheridan, Campbell, Converse, Cooke, and Platte Counties.

The restrictions in Sheridan County started back on July 22nd, and now that they are lifted, activities such as building a campfire, smoking, operating a chainsaw, and using an arc or gas welder on BLM are now permitted.

The US Drought Monitor has some of Eastern Sheridan County labeled as abnormally dry, while the rest of the county does not have any drought conditions.
