On Saturday, September 10, from 1-4, there will be an antique car show at the Trail End, Kendrick Madison. Everyone is welcome to view the vintage cars and listen to the period music playing in the background. The cars will be parked in the Kendrick Mansion driveway and visitors will be able to vote for their favorite one.

Shari Shada, Superintendent at Trail End said this about the event, “This is our third year of the car show. We try to limit the entries to cars made before the 1970s since the Kendrick family only owned the home until the late 1960s. The show was the idea of the treasurer of our friend’s group, Luke Knudson with the Trail End Guilds. The first year we had nine entries, last year we had eighteen, and this year we hope to grow even more!”

She added that the car show is a free event, and visitors can vote for their favorite cars in two categories: “Best in Show” and “Best Restoration.”

She said they are still looking for car entries for the show and interested car owners can contact them via email ahead of time, or show up the day of the event at 12:30. Email: teguilds@gmail.com.

Regular museum admission applies to museum tours only– the car show itself is free!
