The Suds and Spurs Brewfest is this Saturday
The 9th annual Suds and Spurs Brewfest will feature craft brewers from all over the nation, giving Sheridan residents a chance to sample beers from across the country.
This Saturday, Aug. 28 beginning at 2 p.m., the Suds and Spurs Brewfest will be celebrating all things beer and ale at the Whitney Commons Park.
Ambers will be the focus of a competition this year with judges located off-site to taste, look and smell for the best of the brews available. The winner of the competition will receive the Tom Balding Spur, a special spur created just for the occasion. Patrons can vote as well for a People’s Choice Award.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce CEO Dixie Johnson told listeners it’s a great way to help raise funds for the local Chamber and to bring people and industry leaders into Sheridan from across the county.
The family friendly event will feature food vendors, games and music provided by Sheridan Media.
Tickets are $35 each and may be purchased online at wyotheater.com or pick them up in person at the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce located at 24 S. Main St. Patrons purchasing tickets to drink must be 21 years or older. The ticket price comes with a bracelet identifying your age as well as a sampling mug with the option to sample every amber, porter or pilsner that will be available.
