Mathew Blake Vallejo

Mathew “Matt” Blake Vallejo, age 42, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, in Billings, Montana, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on May 13, 1984, in Sheridan, Wyoming, to Blake Vallejo and Connie Williams, Matt was a lifelong resident of Sheridan. A man of many talents and deep passions, Matt’s first true love was culinary arts, where he channeled his creativity as a chef. His technical curiosity and skill later led him to turn a cherished hobby into a business as the owner of Ice Cold Tech LLC, where he built custom computers. He also brought his strong work ethic and camaraderie to Helping Hand Home Repair LLC, working alongside his good friend and owner, Jamie. Matt was truly fortunate to spend his life doing the work and hobbies he genuinely loved.

Above all else, Matt treasured his family and the quiet, meaningful moments spent with them. He was a devoted son who cherished every moment with his mom, Connie, whom he absolutely adored. He shared a tight bond with his sister, Stephanie, looking forward to their nightly chats where they could unwind and decompress together.

Matt found immense joy outdoors—whether he was fishing, camping, and target shooting with his dad, Blake, or spending quiet days on the water fishing with his Grandpa Bill. He loved all of the things Grandma Judy sewed for him. Including a bunch of different quilts that he treasured. Family gatherings were central to his life, especially holidays spent at Grandma Judy and Grandpa Bill’s house surrounded by good food, laughter, and a big family. He was a fun-loving presence who cherished gaming sessions with his cousin Colton, and he shared a special, playful dynamic with his little cousin Ava, who affectionately knew him simply as “Jack.”

Matt is survived by his loving parents, Blake Vallejo and Connie Williams; his sister, Stephanie Vallejo; his grandparents, Bill and Judy Hayes and his grandmother Linda Vellejo; his beloved cousins, Ava and Colton; along with a large, loving extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Frank Vallejo, and his aunt, Annette Crabtree.

A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, September 3^rd, at the Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Terral Bearden.
