Five Sheridan Trooper Players Earn All-State Honors; Coach Cowen Named AA Coach Of The Year

Legion Baseball Coaches have voted on which players they believe are the best AA players in the state for 2023.

For the Sheridan Troopers, Michael Greer and Trevor Stowe (unanimously) have been named 1st team All-State for the 3rd straight year.

Both were 2nd Team All-State in 2020.

Dylan Greenough-Groom and Cael Hamrick are also 1st Team All-State selections and both were selected unanimously this year.

Avon Barney was named 1st team All-State for the first time.

In his first season at the helm, Austin Cowen was selected as the AA Coach of the Year for 2023, after coaching the Troopers to the #1 seed at the 2023 State Tournament.
