SRD set to Offer More fall Adult Softball / Troopers Host two With Spearfish Thursday / Marquez Flirts With a no Hitter for the Rockies
SRD – The Sheridan Recreation District is in the middle of a great summer season of activities Zach Stewart is an adult sports programmer with the district and says a program that took off last year was fall adult softball, for the first time in decades they were able to put together a fall men’s league and Stewart says it’s a go for this fall as well.
TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers are 30-18 overall and get back on the field tomorrow after a nice three day break they they host a double header with Spearfish, South Dakota the first game is set to begin at 5:00.
ROCKIES BASEBALL – German Márquez came within three outs of what would have been a record-tying eighth no-hitter this season before allowing Ka’ai Tom’s single leading off the ninth inning in the Rockies 8-0 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The Rockies close out the series with the Pirates today first pitch is at 1:10 tomorrow they open a home series with St. Louis you can hear Rockies baseball on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.
