Wyoming will once again try to turn its luck around on the basketball court vs. their northern neighbors and Sheridan will try to aid the cause.
Garrett Spielman, Alli Ligocki, Adeline Burgess and Addie Pendergast have accepted invitations to play for the Wyoming All-Stars, when they take on their counterparts from Montana.
Players will report to Gillette College on Tuesday, June 11th for practice.
The games will be played on Friday, June 14th at the Pronghorn Center in Gillette, and again the following day on Saturday, June 15th at Lockwood HS in Billings.
Montana has won the last 11 boys contests, and the last 13 girls games.
Spielman averaged 14.4 points per game, was 6th in Class 4A in rebounding (6.8 per game), 5th in steals (2.0 per game) and tied for 1st in blocked shots (1.4 per game).
Ligocki averaged 9.9 points per game.
Burgess averaged 11.9 points per game and led the state in all classes, in made 3-point percentage (42%) and was 7th in Class 4A in made free throw percentage (78%…10th in the state in all classes).
She owns the Sheridan High School girls record for most 3-pointers made in a game (8) and most 3-pointers made in 1 season (79).
Pendergast averaged 6.9 ppg, and was 5th in Class 4A in assists per game (3.2).
