Another Busy Local Sports Schedule Coming This Week

VOLLEYBALL – While the volleyball teams at Sheridan, Big Horn and Tongue River started their season on the road in various tournaments this past weekend, Arvada-Clearmont started their season in the comforts of their own home gym.

Sheridan media’s Kevin Koile has a look at this year’s Lady Panthers.

The Sheridan Lady Broncs and Big Horn Lady Rams play this weekend at a tournament in Gillette while the Tongue River Lady Eagles play at a tournament at Wind River.

TENNIS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams plat at Cheyenne East and Central.

X-COUNTRY – The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country team run in Spearfish, South Dakota Friday and the Big Horn and Tongue River runners compete in Buffalo.

GOLF – The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers tee it up in Buffalo Friday with the Big Horn and Tongue River teams playing in Worland.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers host a dual meet with Buffalo Saturday.

FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Broncs host Cheyenne South Friday our live broadcast will start at 5:30 with the First Federal bank and trust pregame show kickoff is set for 6:00 on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM and we will also have our video web stream at sheridanmedia.com

The Tongue River Eagles open the regular season Friday at home with Thermopolis and the Big Horn Rams will open on the road at Lovell.

The Wyoming football Cowboys open their season Saturday at home with Texas Tech, kickoff is at 5:30 live on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM.

The Denver Broncos open the regular season at home against the Las Vegas Raiders September 10th.
