History will be made in 2023 in Casper.
This year will be the first time, girls varsity wrestling will crown state champions.
There’s only 1 class for girls, whereas there are 3 for the boys.
The first day of the tournament (Thursday, February 23rd) is girls only, up to and including the semi-finals.
The girls consolation semi-finals, as well as the 3rd and 5th place matches will take place late morning on Friday, February 24th).
The girls championship matches will take place Friday evening at the same time as the boys semi-finals.
The boys start competition on the morning of Friday, February 24th, and the championship as well as 3rd and 5th place matches will take place on Saturday, February 25th.

The Sheridan boys seek their 2nd state title in school history.
The only other state championship was back in 1990.
