Sheridan County High School Wrestling Results: January 26-28, 2013

Sheridan was able to get on the road before the snowstorm hit.
Tongue River wasn’t as fortunate.
The next scheduled wrestling meets for Sheridan will be dual meets on Thursday, February 2nd at home vs. Kelly Walsh, Friday, February 3rd at Cheyenne Central and at Cheyenne East, and on Saturday, February 4th at Cheyenne South (also will dual will Laramie).
The next scheduled wrestling meets for Tongue River will be on Friday, February 3rd at Lovell, and then Saturday, February 4th at Greybull.

Ron Thon Invitational at Riverton – Friday and Saturday, January 27-28:
Boys:
Sheridan finished 1st by 1 1/2 points ahead of Green River. This is the first time the Broncs have won this tournament.
Kolten Powers placed 1st at 120 pounds, Dane Steel placed 1st at 160 pounds, Terran Grooms placed 1st at 170 pounds, and Colson Coon placed 1st at 182 pounds.

The Lady Broncs placed 5th behind Star Valley, Pinedale, Kelly Walsh and Buffalo.
Eva Anderson placed 3rd at 155 pounds, and Becca Oetken placed 2nd at 190 pounds.

Congratulations to the Sheridan Broncs winning the prestigious Ron Thon wrestling tournament… This is not the first time that Sheridan has won this tournament- the Sheridan Broncs won this tournament in 1990 and 1991…
