High School Hoop Scores / Report on SHS Girls Wrestling and Nordic Skiing

LADY BRONC WRESTLING / SHS NORDIC SKIING – Two new winter sports are off and rolling at Sheridan high school, Activities Director Casey Garnhart says girls wrestling is really going well.

Nordic skiing is also just getting started at Sheridan high school and Casey says it’s great to see more students have a chance to compete in another varsity sport.

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams started the new year splitting games with Casper Kelly Walsh in Cheyenne, the Lady Broncs beat Kelly 41-31 the Broncs lost 74-49.

Today they play Evanston at 3:00 and 4:30 and will finish off the event tomorrow against Green River at noon and 1:30.

All the games will be broadcast on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM.

BH HOOPS – The Big Horn basketball teams dropped games against Pine Bluffs the Lady Rams lost 51-25 while the Rams fell 61-53.

TR HOOPS – The Tongue River basketball teams split with Burns the Lady Eagles dropped a tight game 43-40 while the Eagles blew the Broncs out 78-44.

COWBOY HOOPS – The Wyoming basketball Cowboys play a home game tomorrow afternoon against San Diego state pregame at 1:30 and the tip off at 2:00.

WRESTLING – The Sheridan Bronc and Tongue River Eagle wrestlers will compete at the “Shane Shatto” invitational in Douglas starting today.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Bronc swimmers and divers host a Pre invitational meet this evening and the Sheridan invitational on tomorrow with the meet starting at 9:00 am.

INDOOR TRACK – The indoor track season will start with the first official meet next Saturday in Gillette.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks are back at home this weekend hosting the Yellowstone Quake both games start at 7:30 tonight and tomorrow.
