Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks play at home Saturday night against Gillette, the team will host skate with the Hawks for kids after the game they drop the puck at 7:30.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL – The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams begin the new year Thursday, January 5th at a three day tournament in Cheyenne.

RAMS / EAGLES – The Big Horn and Tongue River basketball teams will restart their seasons on January 6th.

WRESTLING – The Sheridan Broncs and Tongue River Eagles will compete at the “Shane Shatto” invitational in Douglas starting January 6th.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Bronc swimmers and divers host a pre invitational meet January 6th and the Sheridan invitational on the the 7th.

INDOOR TRACK – The indoor track season begins with practice next week with the first meet set for January 14th in Gillette.

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming football Cowboys play Ohio University Friday afternoon in the Arizona Bowl, we will have the game live on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106,9 FM.

COWBOY BASKETBALL – The Wyoming basketball Cowboys open Mountain West conference play tomorrow night at Fresno state you can hear it live on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM.
