BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER – The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams have qualified for the Wyoming state soccer championships which begin Thursday in Cheyenne.

The Lady Broncs were 2nd at the regional tournament losing 2-1 to Thunder Basin on Penalty kicks.

The Broncs beat Laramie 1-0 for the regional title both teams head back to Cheyenne to open the state tournament Thursday the Lady Broncs open with Jackson while the Broncs play Star Valley.

TRACK AND FIELD – The Wyoming state track and field championships get underway Thursday in Casper at the regional events both Tongue River teams took the team titles the Big Horn girls were 4th while Rams were 2nd.

The Lady Broncs were 3rd at the 4A east regional and the Broncs took the title.

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers swept the Powell Pioneers Saturday by scores of 10-2 and 3-0 Head coach Ben Phillips says they got off to a slow start but got it going with the bats to win game one.

Sunday the Troops split two in Billings, the Royals took the first game 14-6 but the Troops came back to win the second game 6-3 and Phillips says they are a couple weeks away from really getting the season going.

They are back at Thorne-Rider stadium Sunday with a double header against the Billings Scarlets the first game will start at 1:00 we will have it live on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM and also our live video webstream at sheridanmedia.com.
