Karen Ann Jones
Karen Ann Jones, 67, passed away on August 7, 2025. She was born on January 12, 1958, in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1986, she moved to Sheridan, Wyoming, where she lived off and on for the remainder of her life, also spending time in Montana and Oregon but always returning to Sheridan.
Karen, a retired nurse, was known for her creativity, expressing herself through art, photography, sewing clothes, and quilting. She was also an avid reader and published a novel, Stay or Go?, during her lifetime.
She is survived by her daughter, Katie (Rich) Teslow; her grandchildren, Liam and Lily; and her sisters, Kathy Carmody and Kris Crosswhite.
She was preceded in death by her partner, Kent Tinney, and her parents, Jerry and Peggy Bowser.
The family will honor her life privately. Donations in her memory may be made to the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter 84 East Ridge Road, Sheridan, WY 82801. Online condolences may be made to www.sheridanfuneral.com. Arrangements are under the care of Sheridan Funeral Home.

I am so sorry to see this. I met Karen when I purchased Kent’s bedroom furniture. Then we realized we had spouses with cancer in common. We were able to meet for coffee and get away from “reality” for just a little while. RIP ! I know you are so happy to be reunited with Kent
